Taking it to the streets. Why BLM rioters get away with turning our streets into weapons of war.

by Linda Jordan September 23, 2020

Short answer. Because Democrat politicians make sure they can get away with it.

“….an uncontrolled or uncontrollable mob is only a voice of madness, not the voice of the people.” Robert Kennedy

Roads are the weapon of choice for BLM, Antifa mobs. They are the conduit through which all of their disruption and violence flows. The arson, assaulting police officers, refusing to disperse, beating innocent citizens, murdering people, attacking drivers in cars, destroying buildings and statutes, looting businesses, threatening people in their homes, in stores and at restaurants, holding drivers and passengers hostage on every road they block.

The lawless commerce that the rioters engage in is dependent upon access to the streets.

We have laws, in every state, against the obstruction of streets, sidewalks and freeways, even if you are engaged in a free speech rally or protest. (1) Enforcing them should have been our first line of defense against BLM rioters. If you shut down the roads to the mob, the goods they trade in, violence and terrorism, will be greatly diminished. So why haven’t these laws been enforced? Because Democrats at large, and in the cities where riots flourish, don’t want the violence to end. At least not until after the election. Provided they win. If they don’t win the violence will continue.(2) Democrats share two common goals with BLM rioters, get President Donald Trump out of office (3) and destroy America as we know it. (4) They need the chaos, that BLM provides, to try and break the will of the American people.

“Passion is the mob of the man, that commits a riot upon his reason.” William Penn

The mob has scared reason right out of democrats who control riot cities. These politicians actually discourage police from vigorously upholding the law. “Passive policing” and “de-escalation” are the buzz words Mayors use when directing the approach they want cops to take with “peaceful protestors” aka violent mobs. (5) Officers are forced to let rioters take the streets and freeways. (6) In spite of this “hands off” mandate there are times when cops still try and do their job. Rioters are warned to disperse, warned about the possibility of getting injured if they don’t and then they scream bloody murder when they are thrown to the ground and arrested, like they never saw it coming. (7) Police have been forbidden from employing less lethal riot control methods, forcing them to use impact munitions and physical force to disperse the rioters. (8) When rioters are arrested they are rarely prosecuted by city or county prosecutors. The cops catch them, the prosecutors release them. (9) Most are released without bail but if bail has been set democrats have collected millions of dollars to pay it. (10) Kamala Harris has donated to the bail fund. (11) Pro bono lawyers are on speed dial ready to provide legal aid including Perkins Coie, the law firm Barrack Obama has used for many years. (12) (13)

“Mobs in their emotions are much like children, subject to the same tantrums and fits of fury.” Euripides

There is a pattern, repeated in all of these riot cities, that reveal a plan. Terrorize Americans who oppose BLM Marxists and the radical left until we cower to the demands of the mob. Obey them or their wrath will continue and it will even get worse. (14)

Instead of the ballot box democrats and BLM are using violence, fear and intimidation to bring about the political change they want. That is the very definition of terrorism.(15)

“Mobs and dictators were made for each other, and when mobs appear, dictators will soon flourish.” Jaron Lanier

Maduro anyone? BLM co-founder Opal Tometi dreams of a Marxist dictator for America. From the New York Post. In 2015 “Opal Tometi, [BLM co-founder], was hobnobbing with Venezuela’s Marxist dictator Nicolás Maduro, of whose regime she wrote: “In these last 17 years, we have witnessed the Bolivarian Revolution champion participatory democracy and construct a fair, transparent election system recognized as among the best in the world.” Millions of Venezuelans suffering under Maduro’s murderous misrule presumably couldn’t be reached for comment.”

Attorney General William Barr was right when he recently called out democrat politicians in New York, Portland and Seattle, for aiding and abetting the domestic terrorists who have waged war against our cities and our country for over 100 days. (16) These so called civil servants are engaged in sedition or are supporting an insurrection. Take your pick.

“Individuals have morals, mobs have appetites.” Rachel Caine

Here are a few BLM demands. There are hundreds of them; they are insatiable. (17)

Replace our form of government with a Marxist amalgam.

Abolish the police. [because 800,000 law enforcement officers are racist and are murdering innocent, unarmed black people every day.]

End the war on black people.

Reparations for past and continuing harms.

Divestment from institutions that criminalize, cage and harm black people; and investment in the education, health and safety of black people.

Economic justice for all and a reconstruction of the economy to ensure our communities have collective ownership, not merely access.

Community control of the laws, institutions and policies that most impact us.

Independent black political power.

Abolish prisons.

Give public land to black and brown people.

End the nuclear family. [The village will raise the children.]

“As has been established across decades of civil disturbances, it is police passivity that emboldens mobs. When the cops stand by, or don’t show up or, even worse, run away, it is a permission slip for destruction….Back in 1970, in his classic book on domestic unrest, “The Riotmakers,” Eugene Methvin identified police absence or pullback as the accelerant on riots. It was a huge factor in the Watts riots in 1965.”

July 24, 2020 Email from Captain Ron Mead, Washington State Patrol: “As you have likely read by now, the Seattle City Council has removed the ability of SPD to use the crowd control munitions they’ve previously had and are common in modern day crowd control starting Sunday. This has forced them to reassess how (and even if) they deploy officers in protests and how they manage crowds, particularly those crowds that become violent. They are literally in a no win situation.”

Question to Washington State Patrol from KIRO radio: “We need to hear from the chief on why the tactics have changed. In the past, WSP would never allow protesters on the freeway. Now, WSP is allowing this illegal action every night.” 6/22/20 I found this in response to a public records request I made to WSP. After extensive research I have never seen a directive from Governor Jay Inslee to WSP to keep “protestors” off the freeway. In this author’s educated opinion, Inslee (vying for a spot in the Biden administration) does not object to the rioters accessing the freeway at will. At least not until after the election. If Biden wins. WSP, against their sworn oath and standard procedure, started shutting down the interstate for the rioters. So comfortable were the occupiers with this practice that on July 4, 2020 they went on to the freeway at 12:17 AM, ordered pizza to be delivered to the freeway, parked three of their cars across all the southbound lanes (needed a bumping sound system) and proceeded to have a dance party. At 1:40 AM an unsuspecting driver came upon them. He swerved to miss the lethal barricade of cars, hit two rioters. One of them died. After three months and a horrific death WSP is still allowing them to occupy I-5. The average number of rioters who show up to block the freeway is around 30-50.

July 24, 2020 email from WSP Captain Ron Mead “Following the tragedy with the two protestors being struck on I-5 the early morning of July 4th we changed our stance back to the position we had always held in not allowing protest activity to occur on I-5, and intended to arrest them for Disorderly Conduct should they choose to use the freeway again…. Then as luck would have it, July 22nd ~ a large group attempted to access NB I-5 from Olive Way after looting and rioting on Capitol Hill but those attempts were thwarted by SPD and our ramp response teams….As you have likely read by now, the Seattle City Council has removed the ability of SPD to use the crowd control munitions they’ve previously had and are common in modern day crowd control starting Sunday. This has forced them to reassess how (and even if) they deploy officers in protests and how they manage crowds, particularly those crowds that become violent. They are literally in a no win situation. We too are under similar restrictions…All this brings me to sharing that effective immediately we are reverting back to the freeway closure plan we had in place up to July 3rd. [allow rioters to occupy the freeway] I realize this goes against what I messaged to you and the public following the two pedestrians being struck. And I also recognize that we cannot “guarantee” public safety using this strategy and the tragedy of July 4th proves that. But with large and violent protests expected this weekend, your safety both personally and professionally comes first.”

The Vilifying of Gavin McInnes and The Proud Boys

by Linda Jordan October 5, 2020

Enough of this nonsense. The Proud Boys are not white supremacists. That is a lie perpetrated by the Southern Poverty Law Center(1), main stream media, democrats, and un-hinged liberals. The FBI has not classified Proud Boys as a white nationalist hate group. (2) For years the political violence we have faced in this country has overwhelmingly come from the left.(3) For the last four months BLM and Antifa, actual domestic terrorists, have waged war against America in several major cities; arson, beatings, destruction, murder, mayhem and massive violence against police officers.(4) Close to two billion dollars worth of damage so far. (5) Stop this absolute rubbish about The Proud Boys and focus on the real threat to our country.

The truth about Gavin McInnes in 1,248 hours. Comedian, author and culture historian Gavin McInnes created The Proud Boys. He also co-founded Vice Magazine which I am fairly sure I’d hate, he wrote ‘The Death of Cool’ which I have never read but I hear it’s cool.(6) I am not the target audience for the Gavin McInnes Show. (7) I am a woman and I have grand children. But somehow I stumbled across it and over the last four years I have listened to roughly 1,248 hours of the stuff that rolls out of the brain of Gavin McInnes and it is not racism.(8)

It is an encyclopedic knowledge of music, culture and history, a huge vocabulary, interesting, funny stories about his past and present, the ability to speak in almost any accent, incredible insights into people and what’s really going on with politics and society. And yes lots of dumb male humor. There will be fart jokes, there will be some ideas about women that are spot on and some that are wrong headed (no men are not venerating women by patronizing strip clubs).

There are some gross, foul mouthed, x rated sexual and sometimes mean spirited sidebars where I have to turn the volume down. A lot of fond memories about past drug use which he will have to reconcile when his kids use it as a reason why it’s O.K. I understand why he is not everyone’s cup of tea but I find that it is well worth it to wade through or mute the gross stuff to hear what he adds to the discourse.

With Gavin McInnes you get an exercise in free flowing thought and he does not shy away from topics the left has said are forbidden. You get an honest exploration of ideas and opinions, freedom of expression. Don’t you miss that?

After listening to McInnes over the last four years I have learned that he is genius level smart, brave, loyal, NOT a racist, NOT a white supremacist. He is a dedicated husband and father, hard working, is too mean at times to his sidekick Ryan and protects him like a brother, is patriotic, quick to get angry, cheap, tender hearted, drinks too much and he believes in God. But the overarching tie that binds McInnes together is his incredible sense of humor. In fact it is a disservice to call him a comedian. It is more fitting to call him a truly funny guy.

The truth about The Proud Boys. I watched the Proud Boys story unfold as it was happening. From an outsider’s perspective here is my recounting of how the club came to be and who they are. You can hear Gavin tell the verboten version of it here. (9)

McInnes started the group around four and a half years ago after lamenting that men’s clubs like The Knights of Columbus were a dying breed and men didn’t have any where they could go to just hang out and be men. He began imagining what a mens club would look like if he made one up and Proud Boys was born. Yes it was kind of a joke but he ran with it. They would wear Fred Perry black and yellow shirts for their uniform. The club’s slogan would be “The West Is the Best”. ‘Proud of Your Boy’ would be their theme song.(10) He’d include some stupid, traditions from his childhood. Like The Proud Boys initiation ceremony. Fellow members punch you until you can name five breakfast cereals. My kids played a similar game called “slug bug”. (11)

The Proud Boys do not hate white men because they are white. They judge character not skin color. They do not believe that the white race is inherently superior to other races. A group who actually believes that would not allow all kinds in to their club. It is a fact that Proud Boys chapters all across the country welcome and have members who are black, Hispanic, Latino, Jewish, Samoan, Asian, Native American and other non-white or ethnic groups I haven’t mentioned.(12)

The Proud Boys rallying cry has nothing to do with race. It has to do with their love for America and the west. It has to do with their desire to encourage young men to grow up and be responsible adults. To get a job, read good books, sow your oats like crazy until you are around 24 years old (I disagree on this point), then find someone you love, put a ring on it, get married and have children. After that be faithful, commit to the marriage and don’t abandoned your children. Be brave. And by the way, stop masturbating to pornography. It’s a waste of your sexual energy and tantamount to cheating on your wife. At the meet ups there will be drinking, juvenile male humor, even if you are fifty years old, and just plain fun. Years ago The Proud Boys began to bravely defend conservative speakers on college campuses who were being attacked by violent BLM and Antifa mobs. They protect innocent people, they fight back they do not attack. An official list of The Proud Boy tenets is provided here. (13)

That’s The Proud Boys in a nutshell or should I say a nutsack in keeping with the situation.

Closing. The vilifying of Gavin McInnes and The Proud Boys can be directly tied to their support of President Donald J. Trump. According to the unhinged left anybody who supports Trump is a racist.(14) This character assassination against them was carried out by a mob of soul sucking, vapid, humorless, ignorant, hateful, fascists otherwise known as the democrats, the media and the radical left. The slanderous “you’re a racist” lie that slid off their slimy tongues has harmed the lives of innocent people. Many Proud Boys lost their jobs. Because they were labeled a “hate group” by the SPLC two have been imprisoned, sentenced to four years, one separated from his three small children. Their crime? A seventeen second round of fist a cuffs with Antifa thugs who attacked them. (15)

What was done to Gavin McInnes and The Proud Boys is despicable and should be soundly rejected. And President Trump, once you figure out that this whole thing was a hoax, those Proud Boys in prison are deserving of a pardon. (16)

(2) In November 2018 it was reported on the basis of an internal memo of the Clark County, Washington Sheriff’s Office – based on an FBI briefing – that the Bureau classified the Proud Boys “an extremist group with ties to white nationalism”. (Wilson, Jason. “FBI now classifies far-right Proud Boys as ‘extremist group’, documents say”. The Guardian. Retrieved 19 November 2018.) Two weeks later, the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Oregon office denied that the FBI had made that designation about the entire group, ascribing it to a misunderstanding on the part of the Sheriff’s Office.
